Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Daniela Bascelli and Agency Nella (Pty) Ltd collect, use, protect and share personal information when you visit this website or contact Daniela about training, speaking, advisory or related professional services.

1. Who is responsible for your information

For the purposes of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA), Daniela Bascelli and Agency Nella (Pty) Ltd act as the responsible party for personal information processed through this website and related enquiries.

Privacy enquiries may be sent to nella@agencynella.com.

2. Information we may collect

This website does not currently contain an enquiry form. Personal information is mainly received when you choose to contact Daniela by email, telephone or WhatsApp. It may include:

  • your name, job title, organisation and contact details;
  • the content of your enquiry and information about the service, event or training you require;
  • correspondence, booking information and records needed to respond to or manage a professional relationship; and
  • limited technical information, such as an IP address, device or browser information and access logs, that may be processed by the website hosting and security infrastructure.

Please do not send sensitive or special personal information unless it is genuinely necessary and you have been asked to provide it.

3. Why we process personal information

Information may be used to respond to enquiries, arrange calls, prepare proposals, manage training or speaking bookings, deliver agreed services, maintain business records, protect the website, comply with legal duties and establish or defend legal rights.

Processing is based on your consent, steps taken at your request before entering into an agreement, performance of an agreement, legitimate business interests or a legal obligation, as applicable.

4. WhatsApp, email and external websites

When you use a WhatsApp, email, social-media or third-party link, that service processes information under its own privacy terms. Daniela and Agency Nella do not control those external platforms. Review their privacy settings and notices before sharing information.

5. Cookies and analytics

This version of the website does not intentionally use advertising pixels or non-essential analytics cookies. The hosting or security provider may process essential technical data required to deliver and protect the website. If optional analytics, advertising tools or new data-collection features are introduced, this policy and any required consent mechanism will be updated.

6. Sharing and international processing

Personal information is not sold. It may be shared only where reasonably necessary with trusted service providers, professional advisers, technology or hosting providers, event or training partners, or public authorities where required by law. Some providers may process information outside South Africa. Reasonable steps will be taken to use providers and safeguards that support an adequate level of protection.

7. Retention and security

Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain appropriate business and tax records, or to meet legal requirements. Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Your rights

Subject to POPIA, you may ask whether your personal information is held, request access to it, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected or deleted, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. You may also lodge a complaint with South Africa’s Information Regulator.

To exercise a privacy right, email nella@agencynella.com. Reasonable identity verification may be required before a request is completed.

9. Children’s information

This website and its professional services are not directed at children. Personal information about a child should not be submitted without the authority of a parent, guardian or other competent person.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the website, services or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page.

Important: This website policy describes the current public website. A client agreement, delegate registration process or project may involve additional privacy information relevant to that specific service.
